Whether you need to know the pH or temperature of coconut soil or any other moist, soft substrate or liquid, the Aqua Master S300 Pro 2 is the tool for you. This meter has a high-quality pH electrode and an advanced, long-lasting housing with straightforward controls. The unit is ready to use straight from the box because it has already been calibrated and batteries have been included.

After removing the protective cover containing the storage solution from the electrode, the S300 Pro 2 meter is ready for use. Run clean water over the electrode and pat it dry with some dish toweling. To begin measuring, turn on the meter by pressing the on/off button and submerge the electrode in the substrate or liquid of interest (making sure the substrate is thoroughly wet or moist for accurate readings). After the reading has stabilized, use the HOLD button to store it. To prevent residue from accumulating on the electrode, rinse it with fresh water after each use and return it to its protective cap, which contains a solution for long-term storage.

One S300 Pro 2 digital substrate pH/temperature meter and instructions are included in this set (in Dutch, English, and German). Temperature adjustment is offered between 32 and 50 degrees Fahrenheit (0 and 122 degrees Celsius), and the pH accuracy is 0.1 pH. The meter has a battery indication and auto temperature adaptation, and its 2-point auto calibration makes measuring pH levels from 4.0 to 7.0 a pleasure. The meter operates on three 1.5 V AG-13 button cell batteries (included) and shuts off after 8 minutes of inactivity to conserve power. The IP65 certification (IP67 waterproof electrodes) and calibration indication assure long life in any setting.
