Aquaforest Kh Buffer Dry

Concentrated powdered Alkalinity helps maintain and increase your tanks dKH level without increasing any other elements concentration. Alkalinity is an essential part of calcification and coral growth. Coral skeletons are dependent on having ample calcium and alkalinity in the water for corals to absorb and convert into a calcium carbonate structure. Dry alkalinity additives are very cost-effective and when mixed into a solution can be just as good or better than liquid additives.

KH Buffer Dry can be used with:

  • SPS corals
  • LPS Corals
  • Soft Corals
  • Clams

Instructions:

To make a solution add 80g of Aquaforest Dry KH Buffer to 1000 mL of RODI water. Stir vigorously and then let it sit for 24 hours before use.

It is suggested to start with a dose of 5mL per 27 gallons of aquarium water daily. After each dose, test your aquarium's Alkalinity level and adjust the dosage as necessary for your system's requirements.

It is highly recommended to add Alkalinity solution slowly to a high-flow area of the tank to help reduce any precipitation.
