Published by Clarendon Press, Oxford, 1923, assumed first edition, hardcover. The typographic paper jacket is edge-worn, and has pieces missing from the top and bottom of the spine, which is also sunned. There are several sticky-tape residue marks. The blue boards are clean, lightly edge-worn in places, and the spine is very slightly cocked. A small stamped owner's name appears twice inside the front board, and on the opposite page, where there is also a sticky tape mark. Therreafter the rough cut pages are all clean and undamaged. This is a complete collection of all pre-Christian Aramaic papyri (up to 1923 that is), many of them never previously published in English.
