Arcadius (383 AD -  May 408 A.D) Roman Imperial Bronze Coin 

Bronze, diameter approx 17mm 

Flavius Arcadius was born in 377 A.D. He was son to Theodosius I and Aelia Flaccilla. Age 6 his father made him Augustus. When his father died Arcadius was given the eastern half of the Roman empire while his brother, Honorius, received the western half. Arcadius died in 408 A.D. and was succeeded by his young son Theodosius II.
