THIS PARTICULAR HANDBLOWN PHEASANT DECANTER WAS DESIGNED BY WORLD REKNOWNED ITALIAN GLASSBLOWER ARCHIMEDE SEGUSO AND HAS A NICE COMBINATION OF CLEAR AND PURPLE COLORS. THESE BOTTLES WERE MADE FOR GIROLAMO LUXARDO IN THE 1960S.
THE MURANO GLASS PHEASANT BIRDS ARE REMOVEABLE, BY UNSCREWING IT FROM A SCREW IN THE TOP OF THE DECANTER. THE BOTTOM OF THE DECANTER IS A ROCK-STYLE FORMATION IN CLEAR GLASS WITH CLEAR PONTILL MARK ON BASE. THE PIECE RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL LABEL WHICH DENOTE THE PRODUCT, COMPANY AND COUNTRY OF ORIGEN.
THIS DECANTER IS VERY WELL MADE AND SURPRISINGLY HEAVY. IT WILL BE A FANTASTIC HIGHLIGHT TO ANY BAR (TO BE FILLED WITH YOUR CHOICE OF LIQUOR OR SIMPLY AS DECOR) OR MURANO GLASS COLLECTION. LOOKS AWESOME WITH NO SCRATCHES, NICKS, CRACKS OR CHIPS.
CONDITION: SOME LIQUOR STAIN ON INSIDE. NO CRACKS. NO CHIPS. IN VERY GOOD CONDITION.
