A Girolamo Luxardo cherry wine bottle in the form of a beautifully modelled ceramic female figure. The base still has the remains of the original paper sticker. Ardo cherry wine (which is a dessert wine @ 17.5% alcohol) was sold in a variety of different bottles and decanters. After the Second World War it was made in Padua and this bottle is therefore probably also Italian. Condition good. Height 335 mm.
