First Edition. Hardcover, no Dust Jacket. Ex-Library.

169 pp. with black & white plates, Index. Foreword by Sir John Murray, Ex Chief-Justice of Southern Rhodesia.

Condition: Good.

Binding secure and complete--no loose or missing pages. No tears. No highlighting, no underlining, no annotations or marginalia in text block.

The boards are worn and rubbed, somewhat marked, with light dampstain to lower edge and corners; Corners and edges of spine lilghtly scuffed at head and heel. 20 mm closed tears to hinges on either side of the spine at the heel fixed with glue. Title and author legible on spine.

Library label, stamps, tanning and foxing on front endpapers, same on rear endpaper. Foxing and tanning on fly leaf, Dampstain to corner of front cover migrated to corner tips of first 1/8th  of text block. Very occasional foxing, the odd small coffee stain, thumb print and similar markings throughout text block, but on the whole reasonably clean. Heavy age-related tanning of all pages throughout, especially the margins.
