Binding is tight and secure, pages are clean, clear and bright, slightly yellow from age. A small stain on top of the text block, small stain near spine on bottom of text block and general aging/discolouring on text block; and very light foxing on side of text block at the bottom. General shelf wear on boards, with several light marks and stains. A small tear in cloth on bottom of the spine and a blue mark on bottom of spine about 12mm high, and bottom of spine and first 3 cm of board on back is scuffed. Corners are scuffed from shelf wear but not bent.
Small light stains on inside and bottom of end papers and on bottom of pages at spine throughout the book. Light marks on front and back boards. Page 238 (last page) is discoloured and has some foxing on whole page, foxing possibly caused by an insert, as is the Afrikaans title page. Very light stain marks on front board near the spine.
On front flyleaf 6cm by 7cm price sticker pasted, as well as on back board small white double price sticker pasted.
This copy is otherwise in a fairly good condition. Clean, clear and secure.
