This Armenian heirloom looks and tastes like a cucumber but is actually a melon. The crunchy flesh is burpless, never bitter, and makes great pickles. This delicious and mild flavored prolific producer, performs especially well in hot climates. Light green to yellow ribbed fruits grow up to 62cm long; they grow straight when trellised but tend to twist when grown on the ground. 50-75 days. They are great conversation pieces but that’s not all, their mild flavor makes them perfect for salads or on sandwich's. They are best for eating when picked between 20 and 25cm long and will continue to bear fruit all season if harvested regularly. Heirloom, non-hybrid, seeds can be saved from year to year. Plant seeds directly in garden and watch them grow.
