The awesome thing is you get 3 magazines included in the box, One of each size available. You have a small 65 round mid-cap, a medium 80 round mid-cap and the larger 110 round mid-cap. The SMG is constructed from a metal upper receiver with a polymer lower receiver and pistol grip. You have full ambidextrous controls with a sliding stock that is completely collapsed in its most forward adjustment making the SMG very compact and easy to carry if using as a secondary. The stock can then be quickly pulled out by pulling the stock pad where it locks into position. You will find a long picatinny rail on top with three smaller rails on the hadguards sides and bottom. Some small flip up iron sights and an ambi charging handle to pull back the bolt and expose the hop adjustment.

The battery is installed by removing the rear body pin and then removing the stock from the body. You will need stick type lipo batteries but there is ample space for a decent size. The infrastructure is Ares based with their EFCS gearbox which includes a mosfet firing system and a quick change spring at the back. The hop unit is similar in design to the M45 series so adjustment and setting the hop is easy. The A9 does not have a threaded barrel out of the box and uses the Tri-Lug style fitment like the MP5.
