DESCRIPTION:
This trio is typically Art Deco in style, from the conical shape of the cup, to
the angular handle and stylized geometric pattern in yellow, orange and black.
MARKS:
Alfred Meakin, England, Marigold, Princess Shape and 34N2.
CONDITION:
Unfortunately tea cup has a stained hairline. Tea plate and saucer have stilt
(cock spur) marks and a few small chips, with fine overall scratch marks.
DIMENSIONS:
Tea plate approximately 18cm in diameter, saucer 14cm
and tea cup 7.5cm in height X 8.5cm in diameter.
