About Shipping: This item weighs close to 2kg with packaging. Ordinary parcel post will be R40.00 plus 3% of value for insurance. I'm attempting to get the shipping info listed, but this note is here in case I don't come right!! Apologies if it causes any inconvenience.

This art deco cocktail serving tray dates to 1940, or just prior. The frame is wooden with a silver-coloured metal alloy moulded over the sides and handles, and it has a plain wooden bottom. It enjoyed fairly low usage, but does have some little dings, scratches and scrapes in the framework. The "glass" (not sure exactly what material was used then) is in great condition and reflective. I believe it's reverse painted, blue with silver mirror-like strips and the rest is black. Simple and authentic, a pleasing example of the period.
