Art Deco Fieldings Crown Devon fruit bowl circa 1920's/30's

Offered for sale is a vibrant and collectible Fieldings Crown Devon fruit bowl in a bold geometric Art Deco pattern. This is an earthenware item hand painted in onglaze enamels. The pattern is very similar to Clarice Cliffs Moon and Mountain range which was much admired and copied at the time and which featuresa motif of  overlapping and intersecting circles and chevrons/triangles. The well of the bowl is a pale custard yellow colour while the border is painted in bright tangerine orange, black and dark blue  half circles ; radiating yellow lines/rays; black, green and yellow zig zags and corners in a mauve hyacinth blue. The base has an indistinct stamp Fieldings Crown Devon stamp and painters/decorators marks
