Offered for sale is an attractive hand carved hardwood Art Deco style portrait bust of a young lady in pensive mood with face slightly tilted and closed eyes. This item is probably British dating to the 1930's or 40's  based on the styling of the hair  similar to the fashionable Victory Roll with upswept coiff and bangs and the  abstracted realism of the styling of the face with a long attenuated neck , oval face and the sinuous profile of the hair and shoulders. The piece is unsigned. 

Postage is R100 via Postnet or R140 for courier delivery to major cities in SA. Collection is welcome from Emmerantia Jhb.
