Art Deco Shelley ceramic vase in Chinoiserie style circa 1920's

Offered for sale an attractive Shelley bottle vase dating to the late 1920's or early 1930's , a typically Art Deco style item with an Orientalist/ Chinoiserie/Japonisme inspired motif of blossoms, berries and gnarled branches vertically aligned on the body of the vase and hand painted in enamels in coral red, pink, white and tones of green, sage and black. Just below the neck of the vase a broad collar with cartouches spans the circumference of the vase as an additional decorative motif also highlighted in enamels. The base has the Shelly England transfer printed mark with hand painted form/shape and pattern numbers .
