Art Deco 'Stormoguide' Barometer (Short & Mason)
This impressive, scarce, early Art Deco aneroid 'Stormoguide' Barometer is mounted in a fabulous, wooden, mahogany square frame with decorative corners. It was made around the 1930's in London by 'SHORT & MASON', who were well known British precision instrument makers. It has a large, behind glass, brass framed round dial, specially marked and worded with black & red detail, to enable the reading of future weather conditions. This lovely barometer is in excellent condition without any visible defects and appears to be working well. It measures 21cm x 20,5cm x 6cm, with a dial diameter of 14cm and weighs 1,5kg. The dial is marked 'S & M' with the number '407451'.
