Art Explorations: Pigments of my imagination is a celebration of the multi-talented and creative genius of artist Shirley Mc Daniel, who works across multiple forms and styles of art - painter, collagist, mixed-media, objet trouvé (found object creator), digital artist.

This book explores Shirleys different styles of painting, comparing some which have been created in multiple styles. The evolution to digital art is able to transform all kinds of art into a newly formed version, which can only exist electronically and not in the physical form.

Shirley Mc Daniel has had the opportunity to devote the majority of her time to painting, which has enabled her to build up a substantial body of work. Their subject matter frequently incorporates images of women, symbolising for her, a larger sort of human connectedness.
