On offer we have this amazing detailed brass wall plaque.

The plaque measures approximately 26 cm in height and 26 cm wide.

We were told that this “plaque” had to do with a fireplace. It was in fact a door which regulates the temperature of an old fireplace as can be seen by the marking were the brackets on the back used to be. We couldn’t find any reference to this to verify it and would appreciate any input from the experts out there.

The plaque is in very good condition with minor scratches.

The plaque is in need a jolly good clean and framed in a beautiful heavy wooden frame.
