Magnificent Arts & crafts bordering art Nouveau period piece - Desk stand, inkwells and centre piece (most likely would have been a calender or fountain pen) are missing. either end has a beautiful lady come eagle, detail is incredible she has femine facial features and breasts, wings extend from her shoulders. The stand, stands on little claws, classic feature of arts and crafts period. Made of spelter or cast iron? Not sure as a bit of copper shows through and it is heavier than spelter usually is. A truelly magnificent piece
No damage mentioned besides the inkwell and centre peices being missing and a small chip on the base
I would date this piece back to very early 1900's, possibly older. It is 40cm's long, 12cm's high and 16cm's wide
