ART NOUVEAU HANDPAINTED BUTTER OF CHEESE DISH WITH FLORAL MOTIF, MARKED

HANDPAINTED ART NOUVEAU BUTTER OR CHEESE DISH WITH BEAUTIFUL FLORAL MOTIF 

This jug measures 19 cm in length and 15 cm in width and 16 cm high including the handle. It has a beautiful organic asnd naturalistic design typical for the Art Nouveau period.

This item is very old and is a true collectors item. It dates back to 1910 and originates from an estate sale. There are two age cracks in the plate and there is age staining as well where the porcelain has some darker spots.Underneath the plate at all four corners are small chips but not visiblke from the top. 

The lid is perfectly intact but has some age staining on the inside. 

The butter is marked at the bottom but only part of the mark is visible showing a crown with the letters K and B inside and something a word that starts like KENSING.....
