Art Nouveau small claret jug hand cut crystal with silver plate mounts circa 1900

Offered for sale is a small claret jug with a  hand cut crystal body and silver plated mounts a hinged lid, collar and rectilinear shaped handle. The styling is typical of the Art Nouveau /Belle Epoque Era with the elegant tapering form and floral motif embellishments on the silver plate collar and etched detail on the glass carafe. The base of the jug has a star cut pattern which echoes the vertical striations cut on the lower portion of the glass container. The collar has a motif of floral garlands which is repeated in the hand cut glass details of ribbons and flowers. The item is almost certainly continental/European in origin probably German.
