The auctions, launched for the 2015 Black Friday and Cyber Monday events, lasted only two hours.

(30 November 2015) Black Friday on 27 November 2015 and Cyber Monday on 30 November 2015 saw the first ever Bob Shop two-hour Flash Auctions. The auctions were divided into two sessions, a morning and an afternoon one, each lasting only two hours. The latest goods were auctioned off from a starting bid of R1 with no reserve. The bidders who offered the most won the items.

A flat shipping fee of R60 applied to all the items auction off. Winners were also given the option to collect their items from Bob Shop premises in Bryanston, Johannesburg, without incurring any shipping charges.
