Sellers, do you know that you can increase your chances of a sale by keeping your listings seasonal and topical? Bob Shop offers several seasonal promotional catalogues which are heavily promoted on the site. Make use of them!

Mother's Day

Open from about 10 April until Mother's Day (Mother's day falls on the second Sunday in May). Create your listing with your customers in mind, to help them choose a thoughtful gift for their mothers.

Father's Day

Open from about 20 May until Father's Day. (Father's Day falls on the third Sunday in June). Again, think of your customers, and remember to explain to them in your listing just why your item would make a great Father's Day gift.

Christmas

Open from 1 November until 20 December. Christmas is the gifting season, so make the most of it. You may also want to introduce suitable Christmassy decorations in your listings at this time of the year.

Low Fees

Listing in a promotional category carries a small fee, and the expense is well worth the amount of exposure your items receive.

And did you know... that for the same small fee you can list your item in a secondary category, at any time of the year? This increases the number of views your items gets, and consequently the probability of selling it. The secondary category option should be applied only for suitable products. For example, a hand-made lamp can be listed under Crafts (Finished Home Crafts) category, as well as under Home & Living (Home Décor) category.
