ABOUT AS2100 SYSTEM ANTI-SLIP SPRAY
Add traction to slippery surfaces with Rust-Oleum Industrial Choice® AS2100 System Anti-Slip Spray. This high-performance formula sprays on easily and creates a tough, slip-resistant surface that helps prevent slips and falls.
- Easier and less expensive per square foot than anti-slip tape; great for stairs, ramps, etc.
- Resists cracking, peeling and mild chemicals; easy to touch-up or reapply
- Coefficient of friction = dry 0.72/wet 0.85
- Meets USDA requirements for incidental food contact

SURFACE PREPARATION
ALL SURFACES: Remove all dirt, grease, oil, salt and
chemical contaminants by washing the surface with
Krud Kutter® Original Cleaner Degreaser, commercial
detergent or other suitable cleaner. Mold and mildew must
be cleaned with a chlorinated cleaner or bleach solution.
Rinse with fresh water and allow to thoroughly dry.
STEEL: Hand tool clean (SSPC-SP-2) or power tool clean
(SSPC-SP-3) to remove loose rust, mill scale, and
deteriorated previous coatings.
PREVIOUSLY COATED: Previously coated surfaces must
be sound and in good condition. Smooth, hard, or glossy
finishes should be scarified by sanding to create a surface
profile.
APPLICATION
Apply only when air and surface temperatures are between
50-100F (10-38C) and surface temperature is at least 5F
above dew point.
DRY AND RECOAT TIMES
Can be recoated in 1-2 hours and can be walked on in 24-48
hours. Allow more time in cooler temperatures. Maximum
durability will be achieved in 5-7 days.
CLEAN-UP
Clean valve immediately after use by turning can upside
down and depressing spray button for 3-5 seconds. Properly
discard empty container. Do not burn or place in trash
compactor. Empty container can be recycled.
CLOGGING
If clogging develops, twist off spray button and clean with
thinner. DO NOT insert pins or any other object into the
valve can opening. Replace spray button carefully, be sure
the tip is facing away from you.
