Scientific Name: Withania somniferia

Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) is a rare, upright evergreen shrub with velvety, pale green leaves and clusters of delicate green-yellow flowers. All year round, it rewards you with small, round orange-red berries wrapped in a pretty papery calyx.

Low Maintenance: Thrives in dry, stony soil with sun or partial shade.

Hardy: Frost-tolerant and drought-resistant perfect for tough conditions.

How to Sow:

Start Indoors: Soak seeds overnight, then spread over germination mix in seed trays. Keep moist.

Patience Pays: Germination takes about a month. Once the first true leaves appear, transplant into your garden or containers.

Tip: Harvest seeds when the fruits turn a vibrant red thats natures sign theyre ripe!
