DECORATED IN THE BLUE ASIATIC PHEASANT PATTERN WHICH A VARIETY OF MANUFACTURERS HAVE UTILIZED ON THEIR PORCELAIN WARES THROUGHOUT THE PRECEDING YEARS, THIS SUPERB ANTIQUE CABINET/WALL PLATE IS ONE OF THE FIRST TO DISPLAY THE PATTERN. THE ITEM WAS MANUFACTURED AROUND 1860-1870 AND IS POSSIBLY A VERY EARLY PRODUCTION OF A COMPANY WHICH HAS LONG SINCE CEASED TO EXIST

THE ITEM IS A LARGE DINNER PLATE SIZE AND DECORATED WITH A VAST BLUE FLORAL DISPLAY INCLUDING THE PRESENCE OF TWO PHEASANTS, THE CLASSICAL ASIATIC PHEASANT PATTERN.

THE PLATE ALSO HAS AN ATTACHED (REMOVABLE) SPRING CLIP SO THAT IT MAY BE DISPLAYED

STAMPS/MARKS ETC : THE ITEM IS STAMPED UNDERNEATH - "ENGLAND" AS WELL AS IMPRESSED NUMBERS AND A MARK WHICH AGE HAS RENDERED TOO DIFFICULT TO BE LEGIBLE
