Opal triplets are made up of three layers: a black backing, a thin slice of opal and a glass or quartz cap to protect the opal slice. They look kind of like doll eyes from the back but from the front you see all the different displays of opal colours. Some are grey-blue, others are blue-green and others have a whole rainbow of colours.
If there are multiple winners to this auction, the opal triplets will be distributed on a random basis.
