Aston Martin Vanquish Model Kit 1:18 - Die Cast Metal Kit

The Aston Martin V12 Vanquish, designed in 1995 by Ian Callum, is a grand tourer manufactured by Aston Martin, a Ford Motor Company subsidary since 2001. It rose to fame after being featured as the official James Bond car in Die Another Day, the twentieth James Bond film. In the film, the Vanquish has the usual Bond film embellishments, including active camouflage which rendered the vehicle virtually invisible, giving it the nickname "the Vanish".

• The James Bond film Die Another Day features a Vanquish, although it is called a Vanish, because it can become invisible.
• The 2002 music video "'03 Bonnie & Clyde" by Jay-Z featuring Beyonc¿ shows Jay-Z and Beyonc¿ running from the law in a Vanquish.
• The 2003 remake of The Italian Job shows the car as the first thing on Handsome Rob's wish list when he is able to use the money.
• The 2005 song Don't Cha by Pussycat Dolls features Busta Rhymes rapping about the Aston Martin Vanquish on the third verse of the song.
• The Transformers: Energon character Hot Shot transforms into a Vanquish (slightly modified for legal and play purposes).
• The Vanquish also appears in a number of video games, including James Bond Nightfire, James Bond Everything or Nothing, Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2, Project Gotham Racing 2 ,Forza Motorsport and Gran Turismo 4.
