The
black ASUS 64GB VivoTab Smart 10.1" Tablet provides a touch focused Windows 8 experience with access to apps including Fresh Paint, Facebook and more. It features 2GB of LPDDR2 RAM and a 1.8 GHz Intel Atom Z2760 dual-core processor for multi-tasking power. The capacitive 10.1" multi-touch IPS panel features WXGA 1366 x 768 resolution and a wide 178° viewing angle. The tablet is equipped with 64GB of eMMC storage, as well as 32GB of ASUS WebStorage for three years. You can also expand the storage capacity by taking advantage of the microSD/SDHC card slot.
ASUS equipped the VivoTab Smart with a variety of both wireless and wired connectivity options. For accessing the Internet, the tablet supports 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi. This means you can surf the Web, check email and more, as long as you're connected to your home wireless network or a Wi-Fi hotspot. If you want to use peripheral devices or stream audio to a compatible Bluetooth speaker, the VivoTab Smart is also equipped with Bluetooth 4.0 wireless technology. There's a micro-USB 2.0 port for fast data transfers and a micro-HDMI port as well, which allows you to view your media files and Internet content on a large HDTV screen.
The VivoTab Smart is also outfitted with front and rear cameras, as well as stereo speakers and a microphone. The rear camera supports Full HD 1080p video capture and it is equipped with a back-illuminated CMOS sensor, a 5-element lens and a large f/2.2 aperture for improved shooting in low-light conditions. The tablet also supports NFC pairing and it works with the optional TranSleeve keyboard dock with integrated stand. Other features include a G-sensor, a light sensor, a gyroscope, an E-compass, a hall sensor and a rechargeable lithium-polymer battery that provides up to 9.5 hours of use.
