I bought this one off eBay. i replaced the motherboard on this one with a used functioning motherboard that i bought of ebay. and every time i plugged in the power cord i heard a click. turns out the graphics card had a shorted chip. i replaced it and the short is gone. the board turns on now. but no image on the screen. The lcd screen needs to be replaced because of a faulty backlite cable that's torn. i did not remove the screen and its still in the laptop, let me know if i should remove the screen or if you wishes to use the parts for some other repair. the pcb of the screen is still good. to test this one you need a spare screen. i tested the HDMI and also no output so my guest is either a corrupt bios that needs to be reformatted or a new chip is needed. the graphics card is still on the mainboard and can be removed. NVIDIA GeForce GTX 870M graphics card. please note this is a complete laptop without a hard drive. all casings and covers is in place. if you can get this one working again you will be happy gaming. if you cant get it working you can use it for spare parts. I'm selling as is.
