2005 paperback with 194 pages in splendid condition. R65 postage in SA.

Clive Holt's account of the 1988 SADF advances against FAPLA and Eastern Bloc forces into Angola and at the Battle of Cuito Cuanavale from a 61 Mech. Battalion conscipts point-of-view; sometimes very different compared to the more formal accounts already published. Includes an unusually personal account of the effects of PTSD on the author's life in civvy street after his service. Illustrated with unpublished photographs, as well as surreal  "Desert or Surrender" Angolan propaganda leaflets which seldom made it back to SA.
