Most of us start parenthood with our 'eyes wide shut'. We think it is going to be all valentine and roses and then the proverbial nappy contents hit the fan !! We are VERY lucky if we get away with one of our children just trying something "for the heck of it.."
There are no easy answers to effective parenting and today we depend on many specialists to develop our children - including teachers, counsellors, therapists, coaches, etc. Parents, however, remain responsible for the upbringing and welfare of their children and this they must do without specialised training, usually. Alot, in fact the majority of families are either 1 parent families or where both parents are working and the children suffer because of this and they 'react' because of it too. It seems obvious then that most parents would welcome a helping hand.

I am listing this as secondhand but it is unused. I used to have a franchise in the area of child and teenage motivation and this was one of the booklets we used for exactly that purpose. This used to have a tape but I dont kow what happened to it. This is excess stock. They used to retail for around R100-00 if memory serves me correctly.
