This watch has been very well looked after and it is completely original.
The case of the watch is 18k Solid Gold and the strap is 9k solid gold.
It features very fancy Mechanical Isochronism movement.
It keeps time 100%.
The crown, stem and winding action is perfect.
Everything on the watch works the way it should.
I am a perfectionist and can honestly say that this would be a piece i would keep if i was a watch collector. There are a minor scratch here and there and a very light mark around 4 o clock on the dial which is preferred because it shows that the watch is original/unrestored and proof of its 72 years of existence. These can be rectified but it is not advised because it takes away some of the history / provenance which can decrease the value. The photos are a reflection of the amazing condition of this watch.
Similar watches sell on Chrono24 for R80k+ but im not willing to ship overseas which gives South African buyers a chance to own something quite special.
The watch will be delivered with signed courier before 9am on Friday morning if payment is done by Wednesday evening (night of auction).
