The Audi R8, the sports-car named after the legendary Le-Mans prototype winner of the same name, was regarded by Jacky Ickx (a 6-time Le-Mans winner), as the best handling car of the time. It would also be the first car to feature full-LED headlights for production. It has numerous appearances over 2 generations as 'Iron Man's car' in the hit-franchise MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe).
