The PowerQuest 3 offers eight application-optimized outlets in total: two 4K/8K video-optimized Linear Filter outlet, two High-Current outlet for amplification devices and powered speakers or subwoofers, and four Linear Filter outlets for source components.

Description:

The PowerQuest PQ-3 features both a slim profile and a rugged floor-mounting stand that makes it ideal for mounting behind cabinets. Power cords plug straight down to the top-layer AC outlets, making installation trouble free. For those who prefer shelf mounting, the bottom stand can be easily removed, permitting access to two rows of AC outlets (eight total). Sending clean power to your A/V system was never so simple or convenient.

Ultra-Linear Noise Dissipation

Differential-Mode: 30kHz-1GHz (PQ-3 and PQ-505); 8kHz-1GHz (PQ-707); Common-Mode: 30kHz-100MHz.

4K/8K Video Optimized Outlet

In addition to the Linear Filter, the outlet offers additional Noise-Dissipation technology to maximize TV performance.

Non-Sacrificial Surge Protection

Will accept multiple transient power surges and spikes up to 6000V or 3000A (the maximum that can make it through a home or office electrical panel). Damage from electrical storms or power-line interruptions is virtually impossible. Set it and forget it.

Extreme Voltage Shutdown 

AudioQuest's power conditioner features Extreme Voltage Shutdown: at 140VAC, the main power relay opens in <0.25s, resetting when power stabilizes, ensuring protection against voltage spikes for your devices.

Micro-Spike Protection

Protects against daily short, fast power spikes that damage equipment over time. Typical surge protectors can actually contribute to this sustained damage.

Catastrophic Surge Protection

Protects against lightning strikes and large-scale power surges; 2160 Joule,  maximum spike 6kV, 144kA.
