Austrian Art Deco Double-Sided Magazine Holder With Hand-Carved Dog Motifs.

A handsome Austrian Art Deco magazine holder with sloped shelves to either side displaying hand-carved wooden panels of dog head profiles.  It appears to be a Doberman Pinscher to one side and a Spaniel to the other. The central divider is topped by a brass and copper handle and rests on a geometric plinth.  The holder is in good overall vintage condition with a well-executed repair to the bottom of one panel.  Superb Art Deco functional design.
