In 1990, Fossil decided to expand the watch line to include a more casual and affordable collection, which they called Relic.  This branch of watches has quickly become a line of its own, and continues to grow with popularity.  Without already knowing that Fossil was the creator of the Relic watches, a person would never know just by looking at one of the models.  The Relic label is applied to every piece, not the Fossil label.  They are not throwbacks of the original models, though, just a more affordable and easy to wear design. The Relic line has a class and style all its own.
