 I recently imported this tawse collection directly from a collector and manufacturer in Dunblane, Scotland. The Scottish Tawse was the most widely used strap for both sexes in Scottish schools.

A tawse is a long flat strip (or sewn strips) of leather that is split into two, three of even four tongues. These tongues land independently, like multiple strap strokes, and make it very painful. Traditionally they were more often applied lengthwise on open palms,  as well as rears, of misbehaving pupils,. 

This tawse is a new replica of the actual ones used. It is a 2 tail dense leather tawse. Not to be confused with the cheap PVC replicas sold in adult stores - THIS IS NOT A TOY!!

All tawses are treated with saddle oil to preserve the leather and sustain its flexibility.
