Authentic Vintage Chinese Handcrafted Metal and Jade Hexagonal Dragon Teapot / Flagon

In the next couple of weeks, we will be auctioning some beautiful collectable Chinese handcrafted pieces, sourced directly from rural China.

This specific piece is an ornamental miniature teapot. Although it has a cavity it will not hold liquid. The hexagonal main body is made of dark green jade. The metal parts are non-magnetic and seem to be silver plated.

Condition is good with no chips, cracks or missing pieces. The piece has a height of 16.5cm including the handle. It has not been cleaned.

Three frogs appear to stand (or sit!) guard on the removable lid, with various dragon designs below them. Even the three feet appear to resemble foo dogs. With its beautiful detail it will make a great display piece!
