Authentic Vintage Chinese Handcrafted Silver Teapot

In the next couple of weeks, we will be auctioning some beautiful collectable Chinese handcrafted pieces, sourced directly from rural China and Tibet.

This specific piece is an ornamental miniature teapot. Although it has a cavity it is not meant to hold liquid. The three stone rings are made of what is possibly a light pink shade of jade. The metal parts are non-magnetic and seem to be either silver or silver plated.

The removable lid features a rabbit surrounded by three butterflies. Birds, dragons and leopards all adorn the silver areas, with the spout ending in a dragon's head. Condition is good with no chips, cracks or missing pieces. The piece has a height of 12.5cm and the porcelain body is 7cm in diameter. It has not been cleaned.
