AVANT GARDE HANDCRAFTED LONG STERLING SILVER AMETHYST and RHODOLITE GARNET EARRINGS HAMMERED FINISH

Handcrafted and featuring carefully selected quality gemstones, this rather unusual avant garde pair of earrings are dramatic and different. They feature and oval segment of solid sterling silver (30 mm long x 13 mm across) that has been hand-hammered to created a textured finish. The features stone is an oval cut natural amethyst that has been bezel set into the silver, and then finished with a hand-worked brass accent. The second stone is a beautiful round-cut pink rhodolite garnet, also bezel set and finished with a brass accent. The back of the oval segment is polished sterling silver. The stud is a simple pin stud and butterfly The jeweller has left the backs of both gemstones open to let the light bring out the beauty of the stones. He has then extended a 47 mm (4,7 cm) pin from the amethyst, and set a single darker pink garnet into the tip. The earrings weigh 14,11 grams together. Very "warrior" in feel. Fierce and modern.
