On offer is this very rare bank cheque in the amount of 180 Pounds 17 Shillings !!

Allot of dosh at the time for sure ??

The cheque was issued by The Natal Bank Limited , Barberton branch and used to pay the bank the sum of 180 Pounds 17 Shillings on the 21st of April 1892 signed Whitman

Everything about this item is awesome ...the date , the bank ( for which I find no references ) , the Z.Afr.Republiek one penny stamp , SA banking history

I have no expertise in the field of currency other than knowing which coins are silver and which are gold

The value of these "artifacts" are thus up to collectors of currency , stamps and Africana

They are definitely rare finds , condition as per pics
