Fighting Sable Antelope Bulls Pewter Statues Each 17cm Long Weight 465g

ON AUCTION ARE THESE TWO SABLE ANTELOPE BULL STATUES PAIRED IN A FIGHTING STANCE. THE ARE MADE FROM A NON MAGNETIC SULVER METAL THAT LOOKS LIKE PEWTER.
 
BOTH ARE WELL MADE SCULPTURES THAT CAPTURES THE SABLE ANTELOPES HORNS AND BULKY BODY IN A REALISTIC WAY. BOTH STATUES ARE SIMILAR BUT YOU WILL NOTICE THE ONE HAS HIS TAIL SWINGING TO THE LEFT WHILST THE OTHERS TAIL SWINGS TO THE RIGHT.
 
THE STATUES ARE HEAVY AT AROUND 465G EACH. BOTH ARE IN GOOD CONDITION WITH NO DAMAGE. 
 
The sable antelope is a majestic, robust antelope native to the savannas and woodlands of southern and east Africa. Known for their striking colors and dramatic, scimitar-shaped horns, these highly social grazers are fiercely brave and will actively defend themselves and their herds against major predators like lions and hyenas.
 
Both males and females boast long, ridged horns that curve dramatically backwards. However, a male's horns can grow up to 1.2 meters (nearly 4 feet) long, while a females are slightly shorter and slimmer. During mating season, rival males fight for territory. These intense duels involve dropping to their knees and clashing their heavy horns together to establish dominance.
