VINTAGE PHILIPS MICROPHONE EL 3750/00 - MADE IN EINDHOVEN HOLLAND IN THE 1950'S.
DYNAMIC TABLE MICROPHONE FOR TAPE RECORDINGS. WITH VOICE / MUSIC SWITCH ON THE BACK. FOLD-OUT CHROME METAL RING AS A TABLE STAND. PERMANENTLY CONNECTED CABLE WITH 3-PIN DIN PLUG. NO POWER NEEDED LOUDSPEAKER.
 
A very decorative Philips model from the 1950s. This is his logo you can see on our wallpaper of this brand. Plastic body, gold-plated metal grill mesh and leg. There is a speech/music switch on the back. Cable terminated with a DIN plug with three pins. The model was available with the numbers ending 00 and 01.

CONDITION: STRUCTURALLY OK. NOT TESTED BUT I CAN SEE NO REASON WHY IT SHOULD NOT BE IN WORKING CONDITION. WITH CARRY BAG AND INSTRUCTION LEAFLET.
 
PHILIPS (1891-present):
Philips was founded by Gerard Philips (18581942) and his son Gerard in 1891 in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. Initially, the company concentrated on making carbon-filament lamps, and by the turn of the century it was one of the largest producers in Europe. It became involved in the first experiments in television in 1925, and started to produce radios in 1927, and electric shavers in 1939. In 1939 the company employed 45,000 people worldwide. Among the major subsequent inventions were the compact audio cassette in 1963, PL and SL energy-saving lamps in the 1970s, and the laser vision optical disc and the compact disc in 1978. Philips is Europe's largest electronic company, with 159,700 employees and sales of over 30 billion euros in 2004.
