AWESOME VINTAGE BENRUS POINTER WATCH

A highly sought after and collectable vintage Benrus pointer watch. Named that because of its pointer hand with red tip on the end that shows the date with the day window in the middle. They do not come any nicer than this one. From the early 1950's with its patent no.on the st/ steel back and 10kt rolled gold casing with its stylish bull horn lugs. Measuring a nice 30mm excluding crown and 37mm long including lugs. Its Swiss made high grade manual wind 17 jeweled movement CE 13, ETA 900 one of the best movements ever made. In the range of pointer watches from that era Benrus the best then Bulova and lastly Oris which has a  pin lever type movement. This watch has been checked and new crystal.crown and leather strap fitted. Everything works very smoothly and it has a long power reserve when fully wound. I have worn it on numerous occasions and it keeps great time and is jut wonderful on the wrist. It has some slight aging to the dial but that again just shows its authenticity for a watch 60 odd years old. This watch is just awesome all round and if you a serious vintage watch lover or collector do not let this one slip by as this awesome watch in this good condition does not come around very often and is at a very good price to anything remotely like this one on other auction sites such as Ebay etc. As I always like to say do not take my word for it, check it out for yourself.
