AZURITE WITH MALACHITE NODULE

Stunning bright blue crystalline and semi-crystalline nodules of naturally formed Azurite.  Crystalline Azurites are very rare and difficult to get.  This is the first time in many years that we have had more than a dozen or so Azurite crystals in at all.  Normally we only get Tsumeb crystals in once in a blue moon and they are more than ten times the price for very similar material.  We have been informed that the deposit in Kambove is finished already and that they are unlikely to be mining there again for a long time... luckily we managed to buy a batch when it was coming out.  Striking deep coloured with blade type crystals on most pieces and some Malachite inclusions. Cleaned and selected from recently found deposit at the Old Jakka Mine, Kambove, Congo.  Each piece is a gorgeous specimen that would be prized by any level of collector.  Good to very good grade.

The batches from this source are usually valued at a minimum of R850 per kilogram!
