This lovely book was published in 1999 and provides a fascinating look at which uniquely South African names (both traditional and modern) were popular at the turn of the century in the new South African democracy. International names also feature. There is a section on naming traditions in South Africa, as well as a very entertaining section in which well-known South African parents talk about how they chose names for their offspring.
The book is in good condition and has a single inscription on the first blank page. There is a feint fold crease across the front cover.
