BAC 50 (Benzalkonium Chloride)

BAC50 is an aqueous solution of lauryl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride which complies with the U.S.N.F. monograph for benzalkonium chloride solution. Is a chemical with widespread applications due to their broad-spectrum antimicrobial properties against bacteria, fungi, and viruses.

Uses for BAC 50 (Benzalkonium Chloride)

• As a broad spectrum disinfectant.
• Microbe corrosion inhibition in the oil industry.
• It is used as a preservative in cosmetics.
• Used in formulations of mild cleaners.
• Used in fungicidal products to kill fungus, mould and algae.
• Used as phase transfer agent.
