BAKHTIARI rugs are named for the BAKHTIARI tribe, one of the most ancient and well-known Persian tribes, found in the area southwest of Isfahan which make them in village workshops.

This hand knotted runner is done in the well known Garden or KHESHTI Design using the standard Turkish knot with vegetable dyed wool on a cotton base.

Its got a luxurious, rich feel to it and is wonderful to walk on with bare feet.

This particular Bachtiari runner is 0.8m X 2.75m in size.
