HOW IT WORKS...

• BASIC MATHS: Place a number on one side of the scale. On the other side, place numbers that add up to your first number. If you're correct, the scale will be balanced. If not, the side with all the numbers on will either hang lower (indicating that your numbers add up to less than your first number) or higher (indicating that you've added too many digits. E.g. 9 = 1 +3+5
• WEIGHT MEASUREMENTS: Place a teddy on one side of the scale. Now repeat the above exercise using the teddies to learn the concept of weight measurement.
